Useful Idiots See the Church as Their Missionary Field

By Pat Man | August 25, 2008

iberalism has eroded the minds of useful idiots. So much so, they don’t even understand the term “useful idiot.”

A fellow parishioner and his wife found no problem with trying to turn a Rosary meeting into a project for their pet “green movement” project. Not only because I’m a patriot, but as a Catholic Christian I politely bowed out of the event and hoped to see them at the next meeting.

“Climate change [provides] the greatest chance to bring about justice and equality in the world.” “No matter if the science is all phony, there are still collateral environmental benefits” to global warming policies. -Christine Stewart, Canada’s former environment minister

Useful idiots are at times clever. They know full well that honest wording surrounding their agenda would repel right (correct) thinking people. Therefore, they use words like “community” instead of commune, “diverse” instead of non-white or gay, and “sustainable” instead of fascist regulatory controls.

I was clued into how my green pew-mates use words to lure people when the small group was invited to go “rustic camping” at their mountain property. Being sold as “rustic” and “real” camping, my wife and I jumped at the chance to get out of the city.

“Every time someone dies as a result of floods in Bangladesh, an airline executive should be dragged out of his office and drowned.” -George Monbiot, environmental author, 2006.

Upon arrival (after seeing signs stating there were no fire bans) we expected to do what “rustic” campers do–build a fire. In short, fires were not permitted on the property. The ten or so guests were expected to experience the cold night in tents with no fire while our gracious hosts enjoyed the benefits of their cabin (yes, cabins are now a part of “rustic” camping). Needless to say, the entire guest list abandoned the excursion after the first night leaving our gracious hosts to their green, yet lonely cabin. They were left alone amidst piles of rotting wood and enjoying the stench of their waterless latrine.

“If I were reincarnated, I would wish to be returned to Earth as a killer rvirus to lower human population levels.” -Prince Phillip, World Wildlife Fund

The pet green project that my pew-mates were attempting to push on the group shares the name of a book they are writing, and has a title that rings of a pro-life stance. Just as “rustic camping” communicated one thing something other than what was encountered, the project is shrouded with pro-human life wording and pictures of babies. Other useful idiots, or people who know little about the project, would think that it sounds like a good idea!

Hoping for the best, I scanned the website concerning the project. Basically, it had very little to do with what the name of the project is titled, yet is typical of what a leftist green agenda would be. Apparently ashamed to mention the “Catholic values” that are supposedly sprinkled on the project, the website and its links portray a predictable pallet of communist utopian ideas. The goal of the project is to (as best one can decipher from the site) fuse “family values” with some of the largest tenants of the watermelon agenda. If you don’t know what is meant by watermelon, then read the first sentence of this post.

“Phasing out the human race will solve every problem on earth, social, and environmental.” -Dave Forman, founder of Earth First!

Our pew-mates apparently see no problem with the green agenda–perhaps because they don’t understand it or maybe because they agree with it. At the core of the green movement is a hatred for Christianity, a hatred for America, yet a love for almost anything else. The links from the website explain things in a bit more honest way: Save the earth, deal with global warming, limit materialism, etc. Although not immoral in the micro, the macro results are terrifying.

“Free enterprise really means rich people get richer. They have the freedom to exploit and psychologically rape their fellow human beings in the process… Capitalism is destroying the earth.” -Helen Caldicott, Union of Concerned Scientists

Accepting the premises that the green agenda espouses is an exorcise of blind faith. In fact, only invincible ignorance could allow it. When asked if the activists have experienced any resistance to the project by Christians they explained that I am the first to object. In other words, not only is blind faith an invincible ignorance needed to embrace the agenda, an apparent lack of dialogue with informed people greases the slippery slope.  Apparently, they have not even consulted the wisdom of our own parish pastor seeing as he is in “total agreement” with the Pat Man’s take.

Kyoto is “the first component of an authentic global governance.” - Jacques Chirac, President of France, 2000.

It is their desire to fuse their Christian faith with the tenants of the green religion. So much so, they find it appropriate to combine their family-friendly green project with church events. Their desire to see their fellow parishioners as fools is also clear. They expect other Christians to be duped by a deceitful name for their project/book and expect us to fall in line. When objected to, they challenge us to find “what is morally wrong” with the project. The particulars (family values) are not wrong, however the bigger picture is what matters (Isn’t a title that deceives people morally wrong?.

“The only hope for the world is to make sure there is not another United States: We can’t let other countries have the same number of cars, the amount of industrialization, we have in the U.S. We have to stop these Third World countries right where they are.” -Michael Oppenheimer, Environmental Defense Fund

Informed people see through the green charade so this post isn’t about exposing the agenda (confiscation of property, killing the US economy, protecting animals over humans, anti-dignity, anti-opportunity, punishing success, rewarding sloth, need I go on?), it’s simply to show how useful idiots infiltrate the Church. Micro agendas (family values) sometimes don’t reveal the macro. Discernment and the willingness to be courageous is what are needed–not simply rolling over and allowing “nice sounding” projects by “nice sounding “ people to pass as acceptable Christian events.

And THAT’S just my opinion.

Notes to consider, Christian greeines:

  1. God created the earth and the animals, and said it was “good.” He then created man and said it was “very good.” Got it? Earth-good, man very good. Not the other way around.
  2. Take a lesson from Paul’s letter to the Romans berating the pagans for worshiping “created things” and not the “Creator.”
  3. Nowhere in the plan of salvation is the “salvation of the earth” mentioned. I know, we are supposed to be good stewards, and for the most part we are.
  4. If you can’t be honest from the start by using words and titles to hide real meanings, then you have no credibility.

True, cults tend to have a false profiting prophet. Al Gore is theirs.
UPDATE: I did write a letter to the parish pastor and explained the “neo-pagan trojan horse” aspect of the green religion and he completely agreed. Things are looking better for at least this parish.

The facts is that when SQUEAKY FROUME tried to assasinate GERLALD FORD when she was asked why she did it she said I DID IT FOR THE TREES and the fact is that CHARLES MANSON was a eco-freak and so was ADOLPH HITLER
